Happy New Year to all..

Well the new year is almost upon us, approaching..... just a few hours remain... after which all of us will say a good bye to 2009 and enjoy the rejoicing 2010....

Year 2009 had been such a great year for me, I started this blog in April with a hope of getting some visitors, but unimaginably there was a lot more for me.. Today I reached a mighty million pageviews on this blog, which has been possible because of you all lovely visitors.. Wow a great gift to me in the new year,,

Thanks to all for visiting and even more thanks to those who dropped comments.... Kunga, was the most frequent in writing comments, while there were so many who dropped these small love letters:) and added to the charm of our blog... Keep them coming, I really love them..

Oh I forgot to mention, I have lot more plans to implement in here... Last year I added a cool media player on Diwali Day, hope you all enjoyed the boom... , so buddies stay tuned, definitely a lot of surprises awaiting you all in the year 2010..

It is said that Veer is Salman's Dream Project (as he almost doubled his weight for maintaining historical accuracy:), and so our expectations seems logical.. Veer songs are out and I can't wait to give them a listen.. The song 'Taali Mar' is in news as it's the costliest song, ever made in bollywood. BTW, the songs are tuned by Sajid-Wajid with lyrics from Gulzar.
Veer is an upcoming movie starring Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Lisa Lazarus, Jackie Shroff, Sohail Khan and Neena in pivotal roles. The story was written by Sallu Mia about 20 years ago and, now the dream has come true, it's being directed by the Anil Sharma (Director of Gadar). My expectations are very high, lets hope the Wanted (IPS officer) strikes again when released on 22 January 2010...

Aao Wish Karein songs and movie were a released a few days ago. Directed by Glenn Garetto it's starring Aftab Shivdasani, Aamna , Shariff, Johny Lever in the pivotal roles.

Since Aao Wish Karein gives the perception of a romantic entertainer, one does expect music to play a reasonably important role in the film. And I liked two of the songs 'Kuch Aisa' and 'Sabse Peeche Hum Khade'. They are composed by Ankur Tewari and Xulfi. Hope you like them.

Though I liked the novel, I would expect the so called 'perfectionist' Aamir Khan to really thrill with this one.. Lets hope it turns to be the best.Three Idiots is a forthcoming film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, starring Aamir Khan, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi, Kareena Kapoor, and Boman Irani in the mail roles. Kajol is making a special appearance in the movie. It is slated for a release on December 25, 2009 (Aamir's Khan Special Day, last year it was Ghajini). BTW, the music is from Shantanu Moitra.

Update (19 Jan 2010) : Hey folks, finally I could get time to watch the mindblowing 3 Idiots, I just loved it. Go and checkout, if you haven't. It's definitely worth watching. Starring Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan in main roles, the film 'London Dreams' also features Asin Thottumkal as the lead female character. Moreover Rannvijay Singh and Brinda Parekh play pivotal roles in the movie, which will release on October 30, 2009. Recently the promo that hit the screens had Asin for only a second, director tells that it's because the story mainly revolves around Sallu and Ajju:D

Initially A. R. Rahman was considered for composing the music for the film, but the idea didn't materialize; but that's no harm as later the trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy were finalized for the music direction. Prasoon Joshi has penned the lyrics. Hope you like the songs..

Tum Mile is an upcoming film directed by Kunal Deshmukh. The film stars Emraan Hashmi and Soha Ali Khan in pivotal roles.Tum Mile is a love story set against the backdrop of the infamous July 2005 Mumbai floods. The film is slated for release on November 13, 2009. BTW, the lyrics is from Kumaar. Now I am loving 'O Meri Jaan', it's inexpressible, don't feel like writing anymore, just can say "K.K you rock". A R Rahman - Blue, there has been a recent buzz, and why won't there be a craze, as A R Rahman is the music director. These are his first songs after the Oscars and there have been alot of expectations, and it doesn't disappoint. I have heard all the songs and loved the six-singers packed 'blue theme' fiqrana the most (really a great tune and great vocals). Others are also good, or say with A R Rahman brand I guess I don't need to tell that:)
Blue is an upcoming film slated for a release on 16th october 2009, and is starring Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan while Kylie Minogue makes a guest appearance in the movie . It is an action film that is centered around an underwater treasure guarded by sharks. Blue is about a treasure that is buried 250 feet deep at the bottom of an ocean and is guarded by about 40 sharks. The lead characters of the movie are in search of the treasure. They are composed by Sajid-Wajid, the duo that has been composing fantastic music since late 80's, and this has is an addition to their list. Currently I am listening to 'Happenin I am Happenin' and it's appearing okay.
Main Aurr Mrs Khanna is an upcoming movie starring Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Sohail Khan in the main roles along with Preity Zinta and Bappi Lahiri in a special appearance. MAMK directed by Prem R Soni will be released on 16 October 2009.

Kunga requested Acid Factory, which is an upcoming action thriller directed by Suparn Verma and is projected as one of the most awaited moives of 2009(??).Being a remake of Hollywood flick 'Unknown', it’s featuring Fardeen Khan, Dia Mirza, Irrfan Khan, Manoj Bhajpai, Dino Morea, Aftab Shivdasani, Gulshan Groover, Minissha Lamba and Danny Denzongpa in the lead roles. Wow! that was a lot of names. It’s music is composed by Aryan, Shibani Kashyap, Bappa Lahiri, Mika Singh, Anand Raj Anand, Sandeep Chowta and Shamir Tandon with lyrics from Virag Mishra. (That too was a lot of composers:).Surprisingly it has only five songs from 7 composers. One would naturally expect them to come with astonishingly great tunes. Am going to check them out. Hope the songs find a way to you Kunga.

HR fans it's is a treat for you. Reviewers say that Radio is Himesh's best compostion till date. It has many great songs like Janeman, Shaam Ho Chali Hai, Piya Jaise etc in it. While writing I just noticed that one thing has not changed , like always HR has sang almost all the songs himself:). But it's a great album, so they say that even if you hate Himesh, you may end up loving this. I wish this is true, haven't checked the songs out myself.

Radio is an upcoming movie starring the rock-star(??) Himesh Reshammiya and Shenaz Treasurywala in the lead roles. Himesh plays the role of a RJ (Radio Jockey) in the movie directed by Isshaan Trivedi. Expect the rockstar to rock the movie. BTW, had heard somewhere that HR had told that he would only sing if he was allowed to star in the movie, so these are his first songs of 2009. Hope you enjoys the songs.

Love Khichdi was released yesterday, and is featuring Riya Sen, Divya Dutta, Rituparna Sengupta, Sonali Kulkarni, Kalpana Panditin, Sada and only one Randeep Hooda in the lead roles. Truly feels like a Khichdi, also the tagline signifies 'To many girls, spoil the cook', but anyways he seems to be a lucky guy;p.

LK is directed by Srinivas Bhashyam and was released yesterday (28 August 2009). This is a low budgeted movie which introduces a new face as hero and has it's romantic numbers composed by Pritam. Hope you like them.
